Group Leica

Final leica reel for the group film. There are some inside jokes in here, and most of the kids are based off us (Edlyn drew me in the first pan scene with a cat dream over my head...and an anti-McDonalds sign lol. Guess she heard me and another friend talking about our awful McD's jobs we had.)
And Charlie has an obsession with typewriters...note the typewriter with fishnet stocking legs on his wall hahaha)
And at one point Joster gets this HIDEOUS face. Lisa was doing boards and wasn't sure about her expression, so left her face blank. I went over and drew an ugly face on her, and we decided to keep it in our Leica for haha's.

Also some things will change from this when the final film is complete. We already have a few ideas we're changing.

Not an assignment, did this for fun and so my group and I have a good idea of how to animate the horns moving from different angles.

Cobra in Style

Cobra in the style we want our film in. SO PUMPED FOR THIS. This style is so cool.

After tomorrow I have a week off and not that much work to do, time to catch up on sleep and have some fun for once. My mind feels tired from pumping out artwork nonstop for weeks. It's gonna feel good to have some rest. Unlike the last two years, where we had a ton of work to do over each vacation.

More Film Stuff

We pretty much decided on a style, changed the monster's coloring/shading to be in the style.

All animal nightmares are going to be purple, so changed the cobra's color as well.

Monster Design Take 3

My own take on another group member's design, which we all agreed we liked best.

Dream Job Rough Storyboards

My piece for the fighting montage sequence. We all picked an animal nightmare for this, I decided to do a cobra. We also try and come up with a weapon related to the animal. A friend suggested the cobra have a snake charmer flute, and I eventually came up with the idea of having it as a blow dart.

Part of the fight scene between Joster and the final nightmare monster. The part that another group member did that comes before this has Joster using a whip to grab the monster around the neck. She then jumps on its back. The monster creepily turns its neck around to face her, like an owl does.

The second to last scene in the film. Before this part, Joster threw a grenade-like weapon (her final one) and the monster exploded into a bunch of goo. Joster thinks she beat the monster, but the monster reforms itself as good as new. Facing the monster again, she grabs into her magic endless bag on her belt, but she pulls out sand...she is out of weapons.
