Muzzle and Beak Character Designs

I LOVED THIS ASSIGNMENT. LOVELOVELOVE

Anyways, we had to design two characters, one with a muzzle, one with a beak, and do rotations, poses, and an interaction between the two characters.

I've been wanting to design characters to C.W. McCall's song "Convoy" from 1975 for a while now, and it's about the CB radio and trucker strikes against new highway regulations like low speed limits, and tells the story of a trucker called Rubber Duck and how him and a bunch of other truckers form a convoy against the "Smokies" (highway patrol.) It's a fun song.

I also watched Smokey and the Bandit (which is very similar to the song) and got a lot of inspiration from that. While watching it I sketched character designs and got the designs for the clothing.
